Apatisiwin Employment & Training Program

To provide opportunities for Urban Aboriginal people of Ontario to better their economic lives through culturally based services in an employment focussed partnership driven program model. To prepare Urban Aboriginal people to make better career decisions aimed on job readiness and employment; enhance literacy/numeracy skills, work experience, job search skills, as well as assist with living costs, transportation and child care, as well as address the employment and training needs of former OMAA clients. This program will assist youth in identifying available programming and resources available to them; assist individuals who are entering the labour market immediately after completing secondary or post-secondary education and ensure clients have a full understanding of the career they aspire to be employed in.
