Alcohol & Drug Program
Objectives:

To provide support to clients and their families in need
To make referrals to appropriate Treatment Centres as requested by the client
To promote healthy alternative to alcohol, drug and solvent abuse
To provide support group situations or self help groups to the urban Aboringal population
To increase the sensitivity and awareness of non-Aboriginal service providers in teh addictions field, as well the more generic health, social and correctional service systems to Aboriginal culture and issues
To provide Aboriginal people with both the opportunity and information required to make healthier choices for both themselves as well as their families.

Program Summary

The Aboriginal & Drug Worker program is designed to offer support to those with alcohol, drug or solvent abuse problems, as well as their families.

As well to provide information and education to interested persons or organizations.
