February 9th, 2018Upcoming Events – Flyers

FYI : As of February 14th 2018 – the Friendship Centre will have the front doors locked at all times – we have recently installed a security camera and door system at the front door which is linked to all the floors to have clients and members access the Centre but to also insure safety of our staff.  The camera and buzzer is located at the front door -8:30 to 5:00 pm the door will be answered by the Receptionist, after hours it will be up to the program staff who are running evening programs to let you in via the buzzer.   To make this transition easier we are asking all clients , members to please make appointments or call a head of time just to be sure that our reception knows your coming in. We have had some recent events happen within our Centre that has forced us to take this action in having our doors locked. We welcome our clients and members to still come access the Friendship Centre and its programs. Please be patient with us as this is also new to us here at N’Amerind, we thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.           Management

Over the next three years, Elders and recognized community leaders will offer bi-weekly teachings at N’Amerind Friendship Centre, all related to the cultures of the Haudenosaunee, Anishnaabe and Lenape. At each teaching a healthy meal, reflecting a traditional diet will be served to participants. Please join us as we celebrate and learn about our cultures and build the strength of our communities!
